YES-Toronto Home Prices Still Rising- But Fewer Sales as Fewer Can Buy

October 4th, 2012-The new issue of Market Watch from the Toronto Real Estate Board shows that average home prices in Toronto are up over 8.5% from this time last year. The median sale price of detached houses in C04 is up 13.5% and 28.1% in C02! Though sales are down 21%. All categories of homes showed an increase in value, however low rise properties did better than high rise condominiums. All indicators point to Toronto maintaining it’s high real estate values.
