Toronto Real Estate Prices Steady

citylandscape_038_thumbMay 6, 2013- The Toronto Real Estate Board’s new Market Watch Report states that Toronto real estate sales and prices have not fluctuated very much since last year. It does not seem that way, though, in many neighbourhoods in the city, where multiple Offers still are common. Although, when I look at some snapshots, it seems that prices went up more last year and have settled down higher than 2011, but lower than 2012. For instance,  the median sale price of condo apartments in C01 (downtown west of Yonge)  in April 2011 was $375,000, $380,000 last April, and $376,750 now. Median sale prices of detached houses in C02 (Bloor up to St. Clair and Yonge to west of Bathurst), was $950,000 in 2011, $1,449,000 last April and $1,120,000 now.
